Lise and Faith Memorial Run

On May 27, 2011, Lise Marie Palmer & her unborn baby, Faith, went for a run while on a family vacation. They were tragically hit by a car and killed instantly. Lise lived her life for God and her family; parents, Craig and Cathy, husband Ryan and sons Ray and Mac. Lise enjoyed running and living a healthly lifestyle. We honor her by doing this annual run, giving back as she always tried to do. Friends & family of the Macadangdang, Palmer and Brown's, thank you in advance for your support.

We invite all to join us on Saturday, August 18th. Run or walk because you love to, this is not a chip timed event. We will have a clock at the Start/Finish Line, and flaggers along the run course who can give you times. Unlike last year, times will not be posted. You will need to keep track of your own time. In addition to the 1K, 5K and 10K Walk/Run, we will have a Children's Fun Run. No fee for the Fun Run. We will have a face painting station for all children on site.

For Audra

Audra Brown is married to Bobby Brown and mommy to three children; Mackenzie, Bobby, and Rylinn. Audra is currently fighting cancer and going through chemo treatments, standing strong to be cancer free. Audra blessed our boy's with her gift of meals and her time at our first run for Lise. We now want to give back to Audra. The proceeds of this walk/run will go to Audra and her family, to help with her many medical bills. We honor Audra with this run, which will also honor Lise and Faith.

Saturday, August 18, 2012:
6:30 - 7:30 AM ~ pick up t-shirts & registration (cash/check only)
8:00 AM ~ 10K begins
8:05 AM ~ 5K begins
9:30 AM ~ 1K begins
10:00 AM ~ Free Kid's Fun Run

T-Shirts

T-Shirts: All registrants will receive a t-shirt if registered by August 10, 2012. Any registrants after August 10 will not receive a t-shirt. * Kids age 13 and under are free and will not receive a t-shirt, unless they register for a run and pay the fee. We will have Kid's t-shirts for sale the day of event for $10 each until we run out. Cash or check only please.

Early T-Shirt & Bib Pick-Up

You may pick up your t-shirts & bib the night before the run, Friday, August 17, 6-8 PM, at Sunrise Elementary in Puyallup.

Registration Dates

You may register online up until August 17th, 4 PM, PST, and will be able to register on the day of event at Heritage Park between 6:30-7:30 AM. Important: day of event cash or checks only. Only online registration up until August 10th will receive a t-shirt.

June, 2012: Update on Audra

Audra's doctors have recently told her she will need a bone marrow transplant after she completes her chemo treatments. Audra's insurance will not cover this procedure. The doctor's will not begin the search for a matching donor until Audra has given them a $250,000 down payment. Please register for the run today, it may help save her life.

Puget Sound Blood Bank

Bone Marrow Donors:
Heritage Park on Run Day, 8:00 AM, the Puget Sound Blood Bank will be on site with volunteers from the Central Pierce Firefighters. Please stop by their table to be tested to see if you are a match with Audra! A quick simple swab test and you are off and running!

Run/Walk Trail

A site map of the run/walk trail will be posted a few weeks prior to the event. We will have flaggers along the trails at each turning point, but the best tip to remember is:
If in doubt, always take the trail to the right.

Run/Walk Rules: Safety on the trails

Heritage Park is a beautiful place to run/walk. At certain points the trails will narrow, please be aware of other people and your surroundings at all times. We ask that everyone be courteous to others and enjoy yourself. Be aware of where your children are at all times. We want this event to be fun and safe for everyone! Bicycles, skateboards, roller skates or roller blades and animals will not be allowed in the run/walk.

Your Run Photo's

We will have professional photographer's on site the morning of the event. As you cross the finish line your pictures will be taken. You will be able to go online to purchase your photo's after the race. All proceeds from the sale of these photo's will go to Audra Brown.
