The Conquering Leukemia 5k Walk/Run is the first local race in helping the Chris Potter family with their battle against Leukemia. A percentage of proceeds also to benefit the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society. This 5k Walk/Run is among the scenic view of the Montour Environmental Preserve Lake and its surrounding areas. Most trails are single track and will be effected by weather. Please be prepared as there is no rain date! Mild/Moderate difficulty to be expected on this beautiful trail.
Registration before Feb. 17, 2012 will be guaranteed a free t-shirt. After this date shirts will be offered with registration on a first come first serve basis. Every participant will be provided light breakfast of fruit and pastries. At the finish line participants can enjoy a bowl of chile for a donation. Awards to be given, along with drinks and music. Enjoy a winter memory knowing you are helping the Potter family, and funding life saving research. Come join us for our Conquering Leukemia 5k Walk/Run with a Chile warm-up to follow!
