Take your run or walk training to new “heights” in the 2nd Annual “Conquer the Hills” 5K TIMED RACE in Farmingville! With street names like Adirondack and Summit Place, this 5k (3.1 mile) course certainly has its ups and downs, but in the end, you can proudly say you conquered some of the steepest inclines on Long Island! Walkers are encouraged to join in the fun. Did you know that walking hills gets your metabolism stoked just as much as running does?
This is a TIMED RACE this year. It’s the perfect way to challenge your fitness, whether it’s your first event or your 50th! Can’t run or walk? We are also accepting volunteers to help with the event. Let us know your availability. The fee to sign-up on the day of the event is $30; cash or check (check payable to ActivEntrepreneur, Inc.). Register on Day of Event
You can register on the day of the event at Lynwood Elementary School. Registration begins at 6:45AM and is $30. Make checks payable to ActivEntrepreneur, Inc. Proceeds will go towards funding local Sachem elementary wellness & nutrition programs.
