Event Organizer Website
The event starts at the Pima Pool at 7am with a 625yd swim, then we bike 15 miles through Thatcher ending with a 5k in Safford’s Glenn Meadows Park. Contestants need to be 15 and up to enter the Sprint Tri. However, we have a mini tri that is open to all ages. It consists of a 200 yd swim, 4 mile bike and a 1.5 mile run ending at the same finish line as the Sprint.
The Tri Community Tri is currently in its 5th year and is unique due to its transition areas being in separate towns. Be prepared to stage your T2 prior to starting at the Pima pool. We will have 'shoe watchers' at Glenn Meadows park starting at 5am. Shuttling back to the starting area is your responsibility.
