About the Triathlon Ontario race day insurance fee
The Triathlon Ontario (formerly OAT) is the sanctioning body of our events and thus requires that every participant be a member on race day in order to be included in their insurance of the event. the $6 race day insurance fee is included in your race fee and goes directly to Triathlon Ontario and not to Element Racing.
About the Active.com registration fee
The Active.com registration fee is based on a percentage of the overall registration fee so therefore varies depending on race price. That fee goes directly to Active.com and not to Element Racing.
