The Scenic City Half Marathon runs through the heart of Chattanooga, over the Tennessee River via the historic Walnut Street bridge, and back along the river by way of the scenic Tennessee Riverpark. It is a relatively flat and fast course. The 5K race is an out and back flat course.
In an effort to give back to the community, the Scenic City Half Marathon and 5k features a special Charity Challenge. Race volunteers will be from our 8 participating charities. For their efforts in making this a great event a portion of each participant's entry fee will be donated to the charity as selected by the participant ($7.50 from half marathon entries, $5.00 from 5k entries). In addition, participants and friends have the option and opportunity to raise additional funds for their charity through the online fund raising module.
Age Limits:
You must be 12 years and older to Run the Half Marathon. Parental permission required for anyone under age 18.
