Marshall University School of Medicine AMA-MSS and Marshall Rec Center have teamed up for Pedal for PATH Spin-a-thon! All proceeds will go directly to PATH, the Paul Ambrose Trail for Health. Non-members of the Rec can participate in this event! Spin-a-thon registration is $20 until the event date. You can register online here until March 13th, after which you can register in person on the day of the event.
How many miles can you go in 50 minutes?! Time slots are for 50 minutes, however we encourage you to ride at your ability, and that may mean riding for less time. If you would like to ride longer, and a bike is available, you may do so! Free t-shirts come with your registration but sizes can only be guaranteed by registering before March 4, 2012. You do not have to be a member of the Marshall University Recreation Center participate but you will be asked to sign an electronic waiver upon their entry on the day of the event. If you are an avid cycler and are interested in bringing your bike and trainer we’ll have room! Just be sure to sign up under the “Personal-Trainer” time slot. If you want to give more to the PATH project, have neighbors, family, and co-workers sponsor your ride and help complete the PATH project! Pledge money will be accepted up until the day of the event and pledge forms will be attached to your confirmation email or can be received by contacting pedalforpath@gmail.com.
