Ride Start Time
Please plan to start your ride between 5:45 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. We encourage riders to begin early to avoid the traditional afternoon mountain thunderstorms and highway traffic. Colorado State Patrol will not allow anyone to start prior to first light (5:45 am) without both front and back lights on your bike.
Bike Numbers and Wrist Bands:
You must wear your event bike number and wrist bands at all times!! Your bike number must be attached to the top tube of your bicycle. The numbers are designed to stick to themselves and not to your bike. Attendants will be monitoring all aid stations and you will need to show your wrist band in order to receive refreshments. Your wrist band is also your ticket into the post-ride Alpine Celebration and lunch.
Mailed Packets and Jerseys
Riders who register by JULY 16 can choose to have their packet and jersey mailed for an additional $12.00 charge or you can pick up your packet at Copper Mountain in the registration pavilion between Friday, August 3, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, August 4, 5:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m
