A FUN ORIENTED EVENT FOR WALKERS, RUNNERS, SKATERS AND BIKERS OF ALL AGES. Bring your family, meet your neighbors, get fit and enjoy a group event to benefit our parks which promotes a healthy lifestyle, youth fitness, and all forms of non-motorized transportation.
All participants registered by March 15,2012 will receive a t-shirt. Post March 15 and Onsite registration will be provided t-shirts based on availability. There will be a social gathering at the finish with food and drinks provided for all participants.

Participation
THIS IS A MULTI MODE MULTI DISTANCE EVENT: Use any method of movement, foot, skates or bikes. Just choose your distance and and go have fun.
Benefit
All proceeds collected above the cost of staging this event will be sent to Park Pride to help with the following parks:
Clyde Shepherd Preserve
28 acre sanctuary for wildlife in the floodplain of South Peachtree Creek. Includes wetlands, upland forest and pine groves with well defined paths, boardwalk and observation deck located in the Medlock area of Decatur.
Kittredge Park
30 acre wildlife preserve and green space behind Adams Stadium off N. Druid Hills Rd. Future Master Plans for the area include play areas, crushed stone trails, and improved access.
Mary Scott Nature Park
10.6-acre woodland located at 4150 Briarcliff Road, just behind Shallowford Road churches. Woodland paths, a small parking lot, a children’s play area and picnic tables were installed in 2010 .
New LaVista Road/Coralwood Park
Recently acquired property near Oak Grove that is currently being designed.

Safety
Helmets are mandatory for non-pedestrian participants (Skaters, Bikers, etc). Headphones or other devices which block street sounds are not allowed. Police will be stationed at all high traffic intersections.
